I make books: Many of my sketchbooks and journals are covered with my own silkscreen printed paper designs, some have fabric covers but each book has hand stitched pages and is finished with smart endpapers, place markers or pockets. I use coptic stitching, long-stitch or decorative open spine techniques to bind the pages. In addition to the more traditional books I use found objects to make books: vintage markets provide good hunting grounds for the unusual covers such as as childrens toys. Natural objects such as shells and nuts make challenging starting points for interesting pieces. Commissions welcomed..
