Jack Durling is a sculptural ceramic artist who creates artwork that is emotively driven by his passion for conservation and wildlife. Celebratory of the animal species depicted, organic and expressive embellishments create a visual language that subtly highlight beauty with underlying irony. Inspired by the mass trafficking of animals and climate change these themes feature heavily in his work. Each piece starts with a coil of clay, seeking to create a voice for those that cannot speak for themselves. Jack donates a percentage of all sales to animal welfare charities and is also a Craft Council Hothouse 2020 alumni member..
